I joined IHIQS in 2011. When I joined, I was in a systems engineering course in graduate school, searching for an outlet to participate in intellectual discussions. Surprisingly, I hoped to discuss music theory and emerging theoretical music research with like-minded people, but I have encountered so much more during my involvement in the organization. I think that people don't often realize that, for some people, the need for intellectual stimulation is akin to the need to breathe; we must seek it, or else life is mundane, and the desires of our hearts remain unfulfilled. I am happy to have had the opportunity to satisfy my intellectual curiosity in IHIQS.

Joining the IHIQS community has exceeded my expectations. It provides gratifying stimuli to witness and participate in harmonic interactions with like-minded individuals from all over the world. The fluidity of ideas, mindful problem solving, the luxury of discussing boundless topics that penetrate beyond the typical scratching-the-surface jargon and the support and understanding that emanate from each member to one another are incomparable to all other memberships or organizations I've experienced. It's beautiful really. IHIQS has satiated the craving I have been seeking for what seems like the majority of my life.

The International High IQ Society (IHIQS) is an outstanding organization for individuals passionate about intelligence and learning. As a retired Coast Guard aviator and executive chef, I value the unique opportunities it offers for engagement and growth.
